Sixdays Zurich - Friday Night

This evening was packed with action. The highlight was the Américaine over 60 km (300 laps). There was hardly a minute where the drivers "rested". Most of the time the teams tried to gain a lap or tried to prevent others from gaining a lap. Amazing how Lampater/Grasmann and Hondo/Kluge controlled the race. Marvulli/Marguet and Dillier/O'Shea dropped behind quite early for the first time and had to gain ground most of the time. I will be there tomorrow night for the finals.

In the entrance area many bikes and accessories are shown. Below the unbelievable cool Cervélo P5.

Made in England - The artisans behind the hand-built bicycle

Yesterday, I received my copy of the absolute fantastic book "Made in England". This book shows the art of frame building done in England. I flipped through the pages and can't wait spending more time with it!
If you want to order a copy of it, get in touch with PushProjects, it looks like there's some unauthorized selling through other channels.

4000 km - 4000 km - 4000 km - 4000 km - 4000 km - 4000 km

Today, I reached the 4'000 km mark with my road bike.
This is about 2'500 km more than I did last year.
Not counting the Fixie rides in the city.
climbed Mount Everest about 3 times.
Hope for some more km this year.
Enjoy your ride!

Bag Wanted

For quite some time I'm looking for a custom made Messenger Bag. The range is huge but I haven't found anything that matches  exactly my vision. Space for a 15" MacBook, some sports gear, a bottle of wine when returning home and of course I want it customized with the Fixie Madness logo. Brands I checked so far are:

I'm sure that many more exist so, I keep looking.....
